Last, please consider setting up an ID.me account. This account will allow you online access to IRS to securely make payments, review payments made, check the status of your account and receive notices electronically from the IRS safely and securely. You can also request an IP PIN to securely file your tax return and safeguard against identity theft. By using this account, you can review your account information to assist you in resolving IRS problems and issues and grant us access to assist you. This access is only available for personal accounts and not business accounts, but it's a start toward resolving issues more quickly with the IRS.
